Justin
Justin is an approximately 25 year old Pony of America (P.O.A.). He is what we call sorrel, a reddish brown color, with a flaxen (blonde) mane and tail. Justin also has a star on his forehead (a white mark). Justin has been working with the program the longest out of all the horses we currently have. He started with us when he was only 10 years old. Justin knows when he needs to behave, but he does tend to like to play with the new volunteers and make sure they know what they are doing. Justin can also be a picky eater, unless you try and give it to someone else first… then he definitely wants it. While Justin is good in the lessons when he knows he has to work, he can be a bit grumpy and territorial when in his stall in the barn and does not like people in his space.
