We wanted to give a big THANK YOU to Girl Scout Troop #14301 for picking AHEAD With Horses to complete their Silver Awards. Over the past few months they worked to create a new activity board for us to use in lessons where the children can work on learning their colors and shapes while also working on their fine motor skills, ability to take and place, as well as hand-eye coordination. They also made a new direction pole to help people who are new to our facility find where everything is. (It even has a solar light on top so you can see it in the dark and removable arrows for us to use at Fun Day.) They have also spent some of their hours actually volunteering at our facility and helping with grooming, leading and spotting in lessons.
