Timi’s Tea Honors Supporters

The ranch was transformed on Sunday, September 18th into a chic tea parlor (thanks primarily to Pam Currie) for our first annual Timi’s Tea. Former Board Member, Timi Brown, who passed away last December had previously hosted a tea for the Board Members and had a vision for a regular appreciation event, so Timi’s Tea was named in her honor. Major donors, GEM (Give Every Month) donors, volunteers who donated 40 hours or more during the 2021-22 Fiscal Year, and special guests were invited. Attendees enjoyed snacks, visiting with each other and taking fun photos. Executive Director Michelle Newman and Board President Judy Beem both spoke giving appreciation to all those who have supported AHEAD With Horses. Volunteers who donated over 100 hours were presented with a Certificate of Outstanding Contribution. Judy Beem was named Volunteer Extraordinaire for all that she does; Judy is a volunteer instructor, spends most Sunday mornings at the future location property watering and gardening, and has spent COUNTLESS hours coordinating and following up on property development plans and permits, among many other things she does for AHEAD With Horses. Congratulations Judy on your well-deserved recognition. We appreciate all of our honorees, both those who were able to attend and those who couldn’t. We look forward to making this an annual event and hope to see even more of you at next year’s gathering.
