Favorite Part of Working With AWH
My favorite part about working with Ahead With Horses is seeing the progress in the students. It warms my heart seeing something that I participate in benefit others. Of course l also enjoy learning about the horses and getting to know them as well as meeting other volunteers and staff who also want to do some good in the world.
It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know the volunteers and the staff as well as helping out with tasks such as photography, grooming, tacking and other as they pop up. Wednesdays and Saturdays have become my favorite days of the week because I know I’m always going to see a friendly face, spend time with a lovely horse or two and make a difference in the world.
