AHEAD WITH HORSES FUN DAY 2015
Announces Soap Opera star Jackie Zeman will be awarding the children with their Achievement Award medals this year, a tradition that brings smiles to the faces of all in attendance.
On Saturday, June 13th in sunny Shadow Hills, Calif., AHEAD With Horses, Inc. will hold their 34th Annual Children’s Demonstration and Fun Day!
Special-needs program children will shine on Fun Day, an event for everyone that benefits Ahead With Horses charity! Games, food, music, and horse riding demonstrations by the kids themselves will raise money for the unique Therapeutic Vaulting center.
AHEAD With Horses is California’s #1 Center for Developmental Therapeutic Vaulting. This extraordinary nonprofit maximizes the potential of disabled, disadvantaged and special needs children by providing developmental therapy, education and recreation through horses.
The program provides developmental therapy services to hundreds of children and has touched the lives of over 100,000 people since its formation. The Annual Children’s Demonstration and Fun Day Event is where the children get to show off the miracles they have accomplished with their physical abilities thanks to the hard working horses and volunteers.
At AHEAD With Horses, children with autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, chromosome disorders, spina bifida, seizure disorders and ADHD can learn how to ride a horse. At Fun Day, the public is made aware of the struggles these kids face and is able to help celebrate their personal achievements.
The event will feature enough heartwarming family fun to keep everyone entertained. Enjoy the barbecue lunch, games, arts and crafts, music, silent auction, massage booth, T-shirt sales, special gifts for all youngsters in attendance, and the best part of all: watching all of the children showcase what they have learned to do while on a therapy horse!
