Thank you to all of our participants, donors, volunteers, and supporters who made our 43rd Annual Children’s Demonstration and Fun Day a success! We could not do it without you. 

Mother Nature blessed us with a beautiful day that was not too hot, allowing everyone to enjoy the festivies. Children had fun playing games, getting tattooed, and expressing their creativity at the arts and crafts tables. Giamela’s once again gave us a great deal on yummy sandwiches for the ticket-included lunch, and we had homemade cookies, fresh cotton candy, and on demand snow-cones available for purchase. Our silent auction was filled with amazing donated items which may have prompted a few friendly bidding wars. Senator Portantino’s office presented us with a certificate and the Senator himself encourage everyone to give generously to this worthy cause.

The highlight of the day of course is seeing our students shine as they displayed their talents for family and friends. The students even had the honor of receiving their Achievement Medals from visitors who traveled from a galaxy far, far away.
