Significant improvements in whole body strength but surprisingly expressive speech. Exercise is supremely important to his diagnosis and this is one of the few ways of getting great exercise without feeling like it.
He also has so much fun, loves the people at AWH, and looks forward to coming every time.
Therapeutic horse riding at Ahead With Horses had made such a meaningful difference in Lincoln’s life. Since strarting, we have seen wonderful improvements especially in core strength and to our surprise, his expressive speech. The gentle movement of the horse has helped him build balance, posture, and stability in a way that feels natural and encouraging, while supporting muscles he struggles to use in other settings.
