Favorite Part of Working With AWH
I love seeing the kids enjoy themselves and watching their confidence grow while their parents and loved ones cheer them on. The horses are so well cared for, and the whole environment feels inclusive and supportive. It’s amazing to be part of such a special community.
I grew up riding and have been around horses my whole life, but this is my first experience with therapeutic riding. Caring for the horses and helping with the lessons has quickly become the highlight of my week. It’s clear how much thought and care goes into ensuring everyone feels safe, comfortable, and supported. I’m so grateful for the people (and horses!) I’ve gotten to know during my time volunteering.
