COVID-19 Update: Still in Phase 2

Dear AHEAD With Horses Families, Friends and Supporters,

We hope you are all doing well and staying healthy!

As you know, we created a COVID-19 Plan with Phases, and had started Phase 2 where we take a limited number of students in the beginning of June. This includes new protocols for cleaning and disinfecting, restrictions on how many people can come to our site at a time, restrictions on where people can go when on the property and other information. This plan is continuing to be reviewed and updated as new information is given. You can see the full plan and protocols here:…/AWH-Re-Opening-Phases-For-CO…

We are continuing to allow a limited number of volunteers per day. If you would like to volunteer, you can sign up here:

From now, until at least August 19th, we plan to continue to have a limited number of lessons per day (2-3) with students that are able to wear a mask and do not require a spotter. The schedule is different than it was before the pandemic happened. We will re-evaluate by our next Board Meeting, if not before, depending on the mandates by the state, county and city and the amount of new cases.

During these hard times we still need all the help we can get. Our horses still need to eat and be taken care of. Please consider making a donation or sponsoring a horse to help with their upkeep, or if money is tight, please consider hosting a Facebook fundraiser for AHEAD With Horses.

We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and will keep everyone up to date as decisions are being made.

We at AWH hope you all remain safe and healthy and we hope to see you at the barn soon!

If you want to purchase an AWH mask to wear when out in public, please let us know. They are only $5 (when picked up in person, extra fee for mailing).
